This was a whole-house interior and exterior remodeling project in Glendale that also included the addition of a master bedroom. Countless structural changes were involved that required finish carpentry skills at the framing stage of the remodel. These particular changes dramatically improved the home’s floor plan as well as corrected some inherent flaws in the original design.

Nearly every 20 year-old cabinet in the kitchen was “recycled” for the new layout. This was achieved by custom-building additional cabinets with identical style, framing details and stain color. The resulting process saved the owners over $10,000 by leveraging the craftsmanship of John Hill’s carpentry team. The nearby fireplace was transformed with new granite that matched the kitchen countertops for ultimate design synergy.

In the dining room, a concealed bearing header was used to allow the installation of a beautiful new door unit. This new unit improved the overall layout and traffic flow of the dining room and family room.
